Bosc Pear
“The Aristocrat of Pears”, Bosc pears first appeared in the early 1800’s in France, and have been cultivated in North American for over 200 years. Bosc pears are crisp and sweet with notes of woodsy spice, and are recognizable by their long graceful neck and cinnamon coloured skin.
Tasting Notes: Straw coloured, with caramelized pear and vanilla bouquet. Full bodied, semi-sweet wine, with strong honey notes characteristic of the variety.
