Farmhouse Scrumpy - Crafted using heritage techniques; wild fermentation with local apples, aged and bottle conditioned for natural carbonation. A complex and tasty cider, fruit forward with a balancing acidity on the finish.
Scrumpies originated in Western England, and originally referred to "rough" or unselected apples, but the modern meaning has come to refer to locally made ciders using heritage techniques, distinguishing them from mass-produced commercial ciders.
